OpenAI's Yann Dubois: Why AI Progress Suddenly Feels Real<p>What actually goes into pushing the boundaries of post-training and reinforcement learning for frontier models like GPT 5.5? In this episode of The MAD Podcast, Matt Turck sits down with Yann Dubois, lead of OpenAI’s Post-Training Frontiers team, to unpack how reinforcement learning has evolved beyond verifiable math and coding competitions to actively optimize for messy, real-world utility.
